Film at NAU Today Explores Global Issues of Prostitution

“NAU’s International Film Series continues today with a screening of the documentary “Whores’ Glory.”

Directed by Michael Glawogger of Austria, the 2011 film has a 109 minute running time. The screening will be at 7 p.m. in room 120 of the NAU Liberal Arts Building.

“WHORE’S GLORY,” is an expose of global prostitution and is one of a trilogy of documentaries on globalization by Glawogger. The film is a study of sexuality, politics, human behavior and the effects of capital and religion on both women and men from starkly different cultures, including Mexico, Thailand and Bangladesh.
