Watch “Nefarious: Merchant of Souls”—A Film Exposing Human Trafficking—Sept. 13

Once we all realize that there are 27 million slaves in the world today, more than any time in the history of the world, we begin to understand that we can’t sit still — we have to respond because the love of Christ compels us.  Human trafficking and sexual slavery must stop in every country around the globe, and it’s much closer to home than you might think, because it’s happening here in America and even right here in our own state of Washington.  Even in Bellevue.

Nefarious is the film we all need to see to understand why God’s heart is broken over the hurting and helpless in these situations.  And more importantly, we can catch a glimpse through this gripping documentary what we can start doing to help rescue people in desperate situations who definitely need someone to stand up and lend a hand to get them out of these circumstances.

Recognized with over two dozen film festival honors, Nefarious: Merchant of Souls clearly explains the extent of this world-wide crisis with quality filmmaking.  Following the film will be a discussion of ways that we can explore more resources and take action out of compassion to reverse this injustice.

Join us for this important night and let’s begin this discussion together as to how we can make a difference in people’s lives who need our help.
