Between 1981 and 2001, over 90 prostituted women and girls were picked up off the street and brutally murdered by just one man here in the Northwest. The Green River Killer, Gary Ridgway, says in his own words, “I picked prostitutes as my victims because I hate most prostitutes. I thought I could kill as many as I wanted without being caught.”
Come hear how the Organization for Prostitution Survivors is seeking to honor and remember those victims with a permanent memorial. Come, find out more, and help our community acknowledge those we’ve lost.
