Human Trafficking in Seattle + Abroad: Not My Life Screening + Panel Discussion
Join us to watch this new documentary on the global human trafficking crisis by Academy Award nominee Robert Bilheimer, considered “one of the most influential filmmakers working in the field of international human rights.” Four years in the making, Not My Life was filmed on 5 continents and will expose the many forms of human trafficking from labor camps to sexual exploitation & prostitution to child soldier to domestic servitude. Organized by World Affairs Council and co-presented by SIFF and Hope for Justice, this event will also feature a panel discussion with local anti-trafficking experts immediately after the screening for people to learn more and engage in the abolition movement.
